Comedian Omini Fights Robbers on Val's Day

Reports have it that the rib cracker Omini had a fight with some boys who allegedly robbed him at Opebi round about Ikeja Lagos on Val's day. 

In an interview with BDB News, Omini said " on my way back after the Val event, I was driving in traffic by 1am at opebi round about , a guy came distracting me with Val wishes and he later left. 
When he left, someone alerted me that the guy's partner had stolen from my car. When I checked and couldn't find my phones and wallet, I parked and chased him... I caught him, beat him up and collected my belongings." 


Hmmm, Omini the fighter.. You go help us fight boko haram o. Lol

Jimboi's One-On-One with BDB News

Jimoh Olayinka Sunday a.k.a JIMBOI, is a comic star on the way to the top. He won the prestigious AY Open Mic Competition.
BDB News ran into him and he granted us a One-On-One interview.

JIMBOI has performed at many occasions both Home and abroad. Such occasions as Night of a Thousand Laugh, Stand up Nigeria and Many other events. No doubt he's the future of Nigeria Comedy.

Background?
I'm a Christian and a graduate, I read
power and machinery engineering, from Lagos state polytechnic, a comedian, mc, actor, and a musician. But basically for now I do standup comedy and comedy music.

Journey so far?
As we all know that Rome was not built in a day! I started some years ago and it has really been a huge challenge surviving as a comedian but I thank God, I have been able to make a living with it.

How come its comedy?
I developed my career when I was in school; I started performing as a comedian from one different departmental program to another from there I started handling management program and weddings.

What are your fans reactions?
As a comedian, I'm always on air both on TV and radio. I thank God, because he has been faithful with positive
response from the people.

Open Lafta will hold in a church service, Mc Tjholla

Thompson Amaefula also know as mctjholla, C.E.O Ubaamaka Production, producer $ presenter of Societal Impact, Comedy Fasttrack presently On NTA2, One Chance Salon drama is  now with a new comedy tv show called Open laffta.

Open lafter is a Gospel comedy tv show which will feature live performances of comedians in a service.

In an interview with BDB News, TJholla stated that the aim of having a comedy show in a church is to laugh while getting closer to God and also preaching the gospel in a "comedy way"

The event will feature comedians like  Baba De Baba, Bowjoint, Papa B, and others.
